PRIVACY & COOKIES

Age of Intimacy is run by me, Anita Huckle. I can be contacted via email or https://ageofintimacy.co.uk. I also maintain a presence on social media – Facebook and Instagram.  I may process “personal data” and/or “special category data” as defined in UK data protection legislation, including UK GDPR.  This processing is part of my contracted services, and/or in  my administration.  I realise the importance of confidentiality and deeply respect this.  Data may be processed on paper and/or in electronic formats.  When processed electronically, data may be held on a cloud based system and/or on a local server.  Regardless of how data are processed, all feasible security measures are in place.  Data are held as long as they are relevant to the purpose for collection and/or if there is a statutory retention period.  All data are destroyed by secure means when no longer required.

Data may be shared with third parties as part of my contracted services, in my administration systems and/or if I am required by law to do so.  I cannot accept any liability for any processing conducted by a third party outside my remit.

As part of compliance, I have conducted a cookie audit on the website.  Cookies are internet files used by the system to view websites and their content.   I have links to Facebook and Instagram through the website which may place cookies on your system, but I have no control over these.  My website does not utilise any intrusive cookies for you. 

None of the above affects your rights under the legislation, in particular your right to access the data we hold on you.  If you wish to request a copy of your data, please submit it via email to me.    Please include enough information to enable me to identify you and search for appropriate data.

If you are dissatisfied with this policy, have queries about my data protection procedures or wish to lodge a complaint, please contact the business in the first instance.  Thereafter you have the right to submit a complaint to the Supervisory Authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO):
